How We Charge

Basic Single Will – from £299.00 + VAT.

Basic Mirror Wills – from £399.00 + VAT.

One Lasting Power of Attorney – £399.00 + VAT (Total £478.80)

Two Lasting Powers of Attorney –  £750.00 + VAT (Total £900.00)

Please note that unless you qualify for exemption there is a fee of £92.00 court registration fee for each LPA.

Statutory Declarations – £25.00.

Certification of Documents – £30.00 for a single page document and £6.00 for each subsequent page.     

Litigation (personal injury, medical negligence)

Private hourly rates £325.00 per hour plus VAT.

No win no fee (conditional fee agreements) – the Defendant will pay most of our costs however Claimants are responsible for payment of  success fees – we deduct up to a maximum of 25% of your compensation (including VAT).

Please note that in medical negligence cases we charge an upfront assessment fee.  The fee which we charge will depend upon the complexity of the case and the amount of work required.  

If the assessment is favourable we will then offer you a no win no fee agreement.  If your claim ultimately succeeds we will claim the assessment fee back from the Defendant.  If your claim does not succeed then this fee is non-refundable. 

In Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims we charge a flat rate of 30% of your compensation (including VAT).  

Employment Law

Settlement Agreement advice – straightforward cases £500.00 + VAT. 

Reaffirmations – £250.00 + VAT

Settlement Agreement negotiations are charged on an hourly rate basis. 

We regret we are unable to offer no win no fee in employment cases.

Unfair dismissal (straighforward) £4,500.00 – £6,500.00 (plus VAT) 

Discrimination – medium complexity cases: £7,000.00 – £12,000.00 (plus VAT)

High complexity case: £13,000.00 – £20,000.00 (plus VAT) – eg involving large number of witnesses/documents/cases where disability is not accepted by the Respondent/ allegations of discrimination which are linked to the dismissal.

There will be an additional charge for attending a Tribunal Hearing of £1250.00 per day (plus VAT).

Additional costs

We will instruct Counsel to represent you at all hearings – including preliminary hearings. Counsel’s fees are estimated at between £1,000.00 to £1,750.00 per day plus VAT (depending on the experience of the advocate) for attending a Tribunal Hearing (including preparation).

Travel expenses are unlikely to exceed £200.00. Expert’s reports (if necessary) can vary between £500.00 – £3,500.00.
